Welcome to Lorentz Design and the CUBE
Since 1989 Lorentz Design has offered a complete line of high quality oak cabinets for all of your CD, VHS tapes, components and other audio-visual media products.
Our product feature the patented ALLSTOP STORAGE SYSTEM designed to make easy and convenient storage for all of your media storage whatever the format. The drawer is constructed with a low pile Velcro® like "loop" material and the ALLSTOP has a Velcro® like "hook" material on the bottom. The ALLSTOP's are then placed behind or in front of the media units (CD's, VHS tapes, etc.) holding them in an upright position when the drawer is opened or closed. Dividers are also provided to separate the rows of media units to facilitate easy access.
Each CUBE or CASTER BASE is individually handcrafted from high quality oak veneers and oak hardwood. The sides are cut from panels of high-grade oak veneer and the exposed edges are then banded with solid oak. Our specially designed, solid oak, drawer pulls doubles as a holder for single CD jewel cases. The drawers open on full extension metal and ball bearing drawer slides making access to media units in the back of the drawer as easy to get to as those in the front.
The CUBE is available in several formats (CD Multi Format, VHS, Cassette, Laser/LP& Component). The size for the Cube is 19 ½" wide x 23" high x 17 ¼" deep. Also available are the CD400 and the Component400, which are 19 ½" wide x 29 ¾" high x 17 ¼" deep.
Our product is available in 4 elegant finishes. The Natural, Medium, and Dark are all hand rubbed oil finishes that require an occasional application of furniture polish to maintain their luster
Our Black finish is a sprayed on lacquer finish that requires only an occasional dusting.
Caster Base's are also available for people who may want to move the Cube without lifting.
Finished backs, stacking tabs and extra ALLSTOP's are also available.
